Description
A delicious and creamy baked feta dip that combines the sweetness of dates, the crunch of hazelnuts, and a drizzle of honey, perfect for any appetizer spread.
Ingredients
- 8 oz feta cheese
- 1/2 cup pitted dates, chopped
- 1/4 cup hazelnuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a baking dish, place the feta cheese and drizzle with olive oil.
- Top the feta with chopped dates, hazelnuts, honey, thyme, and black pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the feta is soft and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm with crackers or bread for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Substitute walnuts for hazelnuts if desired.
