Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt until crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and orange juice, mix until dough forms.
- Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries and granulated sugar over medium heat until cranberries burst.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, then add melted butter and orange zest.
- Stir in the cranberry mixture and pour into the baked tart shell.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set.
- Let cool before serving.
