Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded hash browns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the cooked sausage, hash browns, and cheddar cheese to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator overnight.
