Crab Stuffed Mushrooms are a delightful appetizer filled with a savory mixture of crab meat, cream cheese, and spices, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the filling.
- These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
- Feel free to substitute the crab meat with shrimp or lobster for a different flavor.
