A quick and comforting dish featuring sautéed ground pork with shredded cabbage and carrots, flavored with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil, served in a rustic, homely style.
Ingredients
1 pound ground pork
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground pork and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in shredded cabbage and shredded carrots; cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are soft but still tender.
Pour in soy sauce and drizzle sesame oil over the mixture; stir well to combine and cook another minute.
Remove from heat and transfer to a shallow bowl.
Sprinkle sliced green onions on top before serving.
