A flavorful, comforting chili made with ground turkey and creamy white beans. Easy to prepare and perfect for a healthy dinner.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground turkey
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans (15 oz each) white beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
Add ground turkey; cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
Stir in cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add white beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth; stir to combine.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Adjust seasoning as needed.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
