Beef Cabbage Bowls

Description

Ground beef sautéed with garlic and soy sauce, served in tender cabbage leaves with green onions and red pepper flakes.


Ingredients

1 lb Ground beef
1 medium Green cabbage
3 Garlic cloves
3 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Sesame oil
3 Green onions
1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes


Instructions

Thinly slice the green cabbage leaves and separate some larger leaves to use as bowls.
Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
Stir in sliced cabbage and soy sauce; sauté for 4-5 minutes until cabbage is slightly crisp but tender.
Remove from heat and sprinkle red pepper flakes over the mixture.
Arrange cabbage leaves on a serving plate and spoon the beef mixture into each leaf.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
