Ingredients
- 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low and add the cubed Velveeta cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips or as a topping for nachos.

- For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
