Delicious and nutritious cookie dough protein balls that make for a perfect healthy snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, protein powder, mini chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute almond butter with peanut butter or any nut butter of your choice.
- For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey.
- These protein balls can be frozen for longer storage.
