Ingredients
- 1 box of cake mix (yellow or white)
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, melted butter, and one egg until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add the remaining egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Fold the cream cheese mixture into the cake mix until just combined.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
