Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix (yellow or white)
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, melted butter, and one egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add the remaining egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. Fold the cream cheese mixture into the cake mix until just combined.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
