A festive and delicious twist on traditional deviled eggs, perfect for Christmas gatherings.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red and green bell peppers, finely chopped (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting sit for 12 minutes.
- Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
- Garnish with finely chopped red and green bell peppers and fresh parsley.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
- These can be made a day in advance for convenience.
- Experiment with different garnishes like paprika or bacon bits for added flavor.
