Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch pie pan.
- Drizzle the corn syrup over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
