Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls that Melt in Your Mouth!

Description

Deliciously soft and gooey chocolate cinnamon rolls that are perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 egg


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter, and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra chocolate flavor, drizzle with chocolate icing.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
