Description

A creamy and flavorful dip made with chickpeas, sweet potatoes, and garlic, perfect for snacking or as a spread.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Boil the sweet potato cubes in water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. In a food processor, combine the cooked chickpeas, sweet potatoes, garlic, tahini, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  4. Blend until smooth, adding water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • This dip can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
