Description
A creamy and flavorful dip made with chickpeas, sweet potatoes, and garlic, perfect for snacking or as a spread.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and cubed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the sweet potato cubes in water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and let cool slightly.
- In a food processor, combine the cooked chickpeas, sweet potatoes, garlic, tahini, olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Blend until smooth, adding water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- This dip can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
