Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground chicken over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper.
  5. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
