Description

Deliciously soft and cheesy garlic butter rolls that are perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Add the melted butter and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped parsley.
  6. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  7. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Brush with additional melted butter before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the dough.
  • These rolls are best served warm.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
