Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, and salt.
- Add the melted butter and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese and chopped parsley.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with additional melted butter before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the dough.
- These rolls are best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
