Cheesecake Stuffed Halloween Cupcakes: A Spooky Delight!

Description

Delicious Halloween-themed cupcakes filled with creamy cheesecake, perfect for a spooky treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Black and orange sprinkles for decoration


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  4. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with the chocolate batter.
  5. Add a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture on top of the chocolate batter.
  6. Top with more chocolate batter until the liners are about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  9. Frost with cream cheese frosting and decorate with black and orange sprinkles.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the cheesecake mixture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • These cupcakes can be made a day in advance for convenience.
