Description

A creamy and hearty cheeseburger soup that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a comforting bowl of soup.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, diced potatoes, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the flour with a little milk to create a slurry. Stir this into the soup.
  6. Add the remaining milk, Worcestershire sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy.
