Description

Ingredients

  • Ripe tomatoes – 4 medium
  • Fresh basil leaves – 1 cup
  • Extra virgin olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Balsamic vinegar – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste


Instructions

  1. Slice the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes into even slices.
  2. On a serving platter, alternate layers of mozzarella and tomato slices.
  3. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers.
  4. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
