Description

A spooky and fun Halloween-themed pasta dish featuring spaghetti topped with a rich tomato sauce and mozzarella balls shaped like eyeballs.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella balls
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper to the sauce and stir well.
  4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain and toss it with olive oil.
  5. Serve the spaghetti on plates and top with the marinara sauce.
  6. To create the mozzarella eyeballs, place a mozzarella ball on top of the sauce and add a slice of black olive in the center for the pupil.
  7. Garnish with additional basil if desired and serve immediately.
