Description
A delicious and healthy twist on traditional orange chicken, baked to perfection with a sesame glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
