Description

Apple Cinnamon Protein Bites are a nutritious and delicious snack that combines the flavors of apple and cinnamon with protein for a perfect energy boost.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup diced apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats and protein powder.
  2. Add almond butter and honey (or maple syrup) to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Fold in diced apples and cinnamon until evenly distributed.
  4. If using, add chopped nuts and mix again.
  5. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the protein bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute almond butter with peanut butter or any nut butter of your choice.
