Alabama White BBQ Chicken Sliders are delicious, tender chicken sandwiches topped with a creamy, tangy white barbecue sauce, perfect for gatherings and parties.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Slider buns
- Pickles (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to make the Alabama white sauce.
- Add the shredded chicken to the sauce and mix until well coated.
- Toast the slider buns lightly.
- Spoon the BBQ chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each slider bun.
- Add pickles on top if desired.
- Cover with the top half of the slider bun and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a few hours before cooking.
- These sliders can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
